CHARGES AGAINST MOTOR
DRIVERS.

ROTORUA, this day.
At the Magistrate's Court this rooming, before Mr. Paterson, S.M., George Darroch (Mr. Roe) pleaded guilty to being intoxicated whilst in charge of a motor vehicle, also failing to hold a driver's license. For the first offence he was fined £20 and costs, and prohibited from holding a license for twelve months. On the second offence he was fined 10/ and costs. George Daley (Mr. Roe) pleaded guilty to being found in a state of intoxication whilst in charge of a motor vehicle. He had previously been convicted for a similar offence. He was sentenced to one month's hard labour and prohibited from holding a license.
