STUDENTS' SPIRITED DEBATE,

WELLINGTON, this day,
After a spirited public debate at Victoria University College, a motion to the effect that the observance of Anzac Day should be discontinued was carried by an overwhelming majority, first by a vote of the audience as a whole, and then by a vote of members of the society. ■
