CANDIDATES' MEETINGS.
INTENSIVE CAMPAIGN. A HEAVY BABBAGE. MR. DONALD AT MEADOWBANK. The final offensive by all three candidates in the Parnell by-election campaign will be pressed on to-night, when electors of the constituency will have the opportunity of hearing several speakers prominent in the political life of New Zealand. Mr. W. A. Donald, Government candidate, will address a meeting in the Meadowbank School. Mr. T. Bloodworth, Labour, will speak in the Remuera Library Hall. The chairman will be Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., and during the evening an address will be delivered by the Leader of the New Zealand Parliamentary Labour party, Mr. H. E. Holland, M.P. Others assisting will be Messrs. P. Fraser and Walter Nash, M.P.'s. Two meetings will be addressed by Mr. W. P. Endean, Reform candidate. He will speak first in St. Aidan's Parish Hall, Remuera, and afterwards at the Epsom Library Hall. At the first meeting electors will hear the Hon. W. Downie Stewart, who was Minister of Finance in the Reform Government. Messrs. R. A. Wright and H. Holland, M.P.'s, will speak at the Epsom meeting. On Monday and Tuesday evenings next week candidates will fire the final shots preparatory to polling day. On Monday night the Leader of the Opposition, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, will speak in support of Mr. Endean's candidature at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera.
