RAN INTO WINDSCREEN.
WORKER SEVERELY CUT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Severe cuts about the face and head and slight concussion were suffered by Owen Coles, an employee of the Manga - toki dairy factory, when he collided with the windscreen of a "baby" car. The injuries were serious and necessitated hospital treatment. Running from his "bach" in the darkness Coles failed to notice the car. and he struck the radiator and plunged face forward and shattered the windscreen. He managed to extricate himself from the jagged edges and return co the bach, where he ■ elapsed. A medical man inserted several stitches before conveying Coles to hospital.
