HOUS,E AT KINGSLAND. OCCUPANT AURESTED. DETECTIVES AT TELEPHONE. About noon co-day Detective Sergeant MeHugh and Detective Xalder went out to a house at 41, Paice Avenue, Kingsland, where they arrested David Guthrie Caldwell, aged 3!), a bookmaker, on a charge of using the premises as a common gaming house. The detectives seized betting material and also took a number of bets over the telephone. Caldwell appeared later before Mr. John Donald, .T.P., and was remanded on bail of £100, to appear at the Police Court on Monday morning.
