FLYING LICENSES.
FIVE PUPILS SUCCESSFUL. MISS WIGHT'S PERFORMANCE. Five pupils of the Auckland Aero Club were successful in gaining their pilot's licenses yesterday. Miss Ina Wight, of Cheltenham, Devonport, is the first Auckland aviatrix, and she was successful in the tests for the pilot's "A" license. Flying conditions were good, and all pupils acquitted themselves well. Squadron-Leader L. M. Isitt observed the tests, and granted licenses to Miss Ina Wight and Messrs. V. Pheasant, I. Eddleston, G. R. C. MacMillan and K. M. Carter.
