SALE OF ICE CREAM.
BUSTY AND DIRTY CANS USED. MASTERTON DEALER FINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, Friday. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, A., K McDonald, against whom there were four charges relating to the storage of ice cream in unlicensed premises and exposing it for sale in rusty and dirty ?eceptacles, was fined £10 on the charge concerning the use of dirty receptacles and on the others was convicted and ordered to pay costs. The solicitor for the Borough Council, who prosecuted, asked the magistrate to take a serious view of the case, as defendant was in a big way of business and had supplied a great many £hops all over the country. The magistrate said the premises and receptacles were not in a fit state to be used.
