TENNIS CLUB DANCE.

A dance - arranged by St. George's Tennis Club was held last evening in the Renown Hall, Papatoetoe. Music was provided by the club orchestro. _ Mr. b. W Nicholson acted as organiser of dances, and Mesdames T. H. C. Partridge, Richards, and Rayner were chaperons. During the evening the championship tennis cups were presented by the Rev. T H C. Partridge to Miss E. M. Kendall (l'adies' singles) and Mr. S. W. Nicholson (men's singles). Prizes were also presented tor Miss T. M. Richards and Mr. V. R. Smytheman, runners-up in the competitions. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Dulcie Grinter and Mr. R. J. Jenkins. Among those present were: Mrs. T. H.
