LEG FRACTURED.
MOTOR CYCLE AND CAR. COLLISION AT WHANGAREI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. At 9.45 this morning a collision between a motor car and a motor cyple resulted in Donald Hichs suffering a fractured leg. He had just finished for the day at Sothern'e dairy and was riding home. Mi\ Manson was driving a big touring model car up Bank Street and as he turned to go into Cameron Street the crash occurred. 1. The motor cycle nosed right in between the chassis and the front wheel of the car, where it remained jammed. A big crowd congregated and Mr. Hicks was picked up and taken into the Bank of New Zealand prior to the arrival of tile ambulance to take him to hospital.
