Madam Baird, who has been judging the dancing competitions at Napier, has returned to Auckland. She says there were 233 entries in the dancing sections, and it was an excellent competition. The Scottish and Irish national dancing was very fine, and Madam Baird says one of the Irish jigs was the best she lias seen.
