NEWMARKET'S NEW SERGEANT

FAREWELLS IN WANGANUI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, this day. Before his departure for Auckland where he has been promoted to the charge of the Newmarket police station Sergeant E. Finch, who has been 13 years in Wanganui, was farewelled by the police force and presented with a gold watch and also gifts for his wife and family. . .
