CROQUET.
WAIHI PLAYER'S FEAT. WAIHI, Monday. During the competition for the president's trophy for "break," on the Wnihi Croquet Club's green on Saturday, a remarkable performance was put up by one of the ladies, Mrs. E. C. Westbury, who succeeded without a break in making 48 points (hoops). This is believed to be a record for the district. Mrs. Westbury is comparatively a young player, this being only her "third season at the game, and her achievement is certainly unique.
