SYDNEY AND ISLAND BOATS. WII7TON REPORTS. Two passenger steamers berthed at Auckland this morning, the Tofua, from Fiji, Tonga and Samoa, and the Ulimaroa, from Sydney. Both vessels sail again this week, the Ulimaroa on Friday and the Tofua on Saturday. Due from Launceston to-morrow morning, the Port Caroline is to commence loading here for London. The Maui Pomare is running two days behind schedule, and will not arrive from Norfolk Island until Thursday morning, while the Winton, which has been several days due from A T ew York, radios she will arrive on Thursday afternoon. The Waipiata arrived yesterday afternoon from Southern ports and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru and Timaru. The Kaimanawa is to leave Portland this afternoon for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Waimea is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Gisborne and Napier, whence she returns to Auckland on Sunday. Tlje Kanna is expected to leave . Greymouth to-day for Westport, to fill up for Napier and Auckland. The Kaponga, en route from Greymouth, cleared New Plymouth at 10.15 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. The Northern Company advises. that the usual trip from, Waiheke to Auckland on Monday mornings has been cancelled. In future "passengers will have to return from Waiheke on Sunday evening. The Shaw, Savill sml Albion steamer Matakana is t,o sail on Thursday afternoon for Wellington; Lyttelton and Dunedin, to fill up for London. In continuation of lier voyage from Liverpool, the Federal steamer Hertford is to sail at noon to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander, which left Auckland for New York, Boston and Halifax on February 9, is reported to have reached New York last Saturday. Arriving at Auckland this morning, the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa berthed at the Prince's wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney. On her return voyage to Sydney she is to leave here at 3 p.m. on Friday, instead of 11 a.m. The local office of the Union Co. advises that the steamer Narbada is due at Calcutta on Thursday next to commence loading for Auckland and Wellington. She is to leave Calcutta early in April for Rangoon, Penang, Singapore and Saniarang to'complete her cargo, and if sufficient cargo, offers there, .She will-discharge at Timaru and Bluff in addition to the two North Isliand ports;

The Union Co.'s steamer Kaimiro arrived from Lyttelton yesterday afternoon and berthed at the Queen's wharf to discharge "■eneral cargo from Australian and South Island ports. SUe is to sail to-morrow evening for Portland, where she will discharge Australian gypsum and load cement for Wellington. A radio from the A. and A. Line s chartered steamer Winton states that she expects to arrive at Auckland from New York next Thursday afternoon. She has basic slag from Antwerp and general cargo from U.S. for discharge here and at Wellington, New Plymouth and Australian ports. (IN./S.fe. Co., agents.) Cabled advice from Sydney confirms the arrival there this morning of the Union Co.'s steamers Marama and Maunganui, wuh passengers, mails and cargo from Auckland and Wellington respectively. Both vessels are to leave there again next Friday, the Maunganui for Auckland and the Matama for Wellington. POET CAROLINE REPORTS. According to her wireless report, the Commonwealth, and Dominion Line steamer Port Caroline is due at Auckland from Launceston at 4 a.m. to-morrow. She is to berth' at the Queen's wharf to commence loading for London, and will later complete her cargo at Gisborne, Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington, sailing finally from the last named port on April 6. Now discharging and loading at Southern ports the Canadian National steamer Canadian Explorer is due to return to Auckland on March 28 to complete loading. The vessel will be dispatched from this port for New York, Boston and Montreal. She will be the first of the National steamers to load for Montreal this season.
