The Eden Women's branch of the United Political party held a successful and enjoyable evening recently, when several guest? played 500, or danced to excellent musical fare provided by the Royal Syncopators. Mr. George C. Munns, M.P V congratulated the ladies on the' progress the branch was making and. wished jthem -exery success. Mr?. Simmons, the president of the branch, also addressed, the visitors. Mr. Matthews announced the prize winners. Among those present were: —Mrs. G. C. Munns, in a frock of saxe blue crepe de cTrijuj, and coffee lace;". Miss Munns, pink georgette, and pearl trimming; Mrs. Simmons, navy floral marocain; Mrs. Matthews, seal green lame, with Oriental trimmings; Mrs. Savers, henna georgette; Mrs. Carter, powder blue chiffon satin; Mrs. Granger, fawn crepe de chine; Mrs. Steel, rose pink beaded georgette; Mrs. Wrigley, green shot taffeta; Miss D. Thornton, floral ninon;
Miss S. Bland, black satin; Mrs. Roberts, black satin, georgette frills; Mrs. I. Walters, pink embossed georgette, silver,,and lace; Miss Aileen Howard, taffeta cyclamen; Miss Smith, .white georgette; Miss M. Shute, orange taffeta; .Miss Shute, black-ring velvet and Spanish shawl; Miss M.
