ACCIDENTS.
A small boy named Bruce Aitchison. youngest son of Mr. H. Aitchison. of Great" South Road. Manurewa. was knocked over and severely injured by a passing motorist at about 6 p.m. yesterday. It appears the boy wished to cros s the concrete roadway at its intersection with Hill Road, and after waiting for'a passenger "bus to pass he made a da-sh for the other side, but failed to noti/« an approaching car. He was knocked down and rendered unconscious. After being treated by Dr. Bridgman, of Papakura, he was conveyed to * the Auckland Hospital. The motor cyclist. Mr. James Purvis Lindsay, of Monaghan Avenue. Mount Albert, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon through injuries to his head, received when he crashed on the loose metal of the main .Papakura-Clevedon Road, is reported not to be in a serious condition; and is progressing favourably.
