CARPENTERS' CLAIM
£6 PER WEEK OF FtVE DAYS. DOMINION AWARD SOUGHT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . WELLINGTON, this.day. The Arbitration Court is hearing a dispute tiled by the-Carpenters, Joiners and Federated Builders' Association, in which a Dominion award is sought. The union is asking far a minimum wage for journeymen of £6 a week and a reduction of hours from 44 to 40, and of the working week from five and a half days to five; ""'casuals" to receive 3/3 an hour.
