DISTRESSING CASE.
DEPRESSED MARRIED WOMAN
FOUND WITH THROAT CUT.
Mrs. Martha Bradley, of 112, Lake Eoiid, Takapuna, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday at 5.30 a.m. suffering from a wound in her throat. Her death took place an hour and a half later. Mrs. Bradley had recently been in a depressed state of mind. She was missed from her home last Thursday, and some anxiety was felt as to her safety, but she returned again about 3.30 p.m. on Friday, when she was seen by the local constable making for her home. Medical attendance was secured by the husband, Mr. David Bradley, and a sleeping draught was prescribed. Early yesterday morning, however, Mrs. Bradley was fo\md in her bedroom with her throat cut. She was promptly removed to the hospital. Mrs. Bradley was 45 years of age.
