Children Near Sydney Attacked in Sleep. FLESH GNAWED AWAY. (Keceivgd 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Vicious attacks by rats on children have occurred at "Windsor, 34 miles north-west from Sydney. The parents of Charles Green, aged six, awakened by the child's screams, found one of his toes almost, bitten off by ferocious rats. The following night cries from their daughter Millie, again brought them rushing to the bedroom. One finger of her right hand was torn and bleeding where the rats had gnawed the flesh away.
