9 * AUCKLAND TOURNEY. THE FINALS TO-DAY. The final stages in the Auckland Croquet Association's tournament were approached yesterday. In the junior grade, Mrs. Schubert defeated Mrs. Snowden and won the handicap singles. The final of the junior handicap doubles was -layed between Mesdames McAnalty and hickson and Mrs, Johnson and Mr. Hayden, victory resting with farmer. At the close of play Mr. Hayden made a presentation on behalf of the competitors to Mrs. Perry. . , In the senior handicap singles yesterday's results were as follows: — Mrs White beat Mrs. Laurie, Mrs. Clark beat Mrs. Harvey, Mrs. Cole beat Mrs. Clark and M-s. Gallaher, Mrs. Parker-Hill beat Mrs-. Thompson. Mrs. Hilton beat Mrs. 1 Crosford, Mrs. Laurie beat Mrs. Hilton.
