The Government taxation in connection with the Te ArSiia Trotting Club's meeting amounted to £1151 2/3, as lollows: Totalisator tax, £382 19/9; dividend tax, £089 3/; stakes tax, £58; amusement tax, £20 19/0. This is an increase of £58 19/11 over last year's figures. NOTES. Bawldy Locanda now runs in the . ownership of C. R. Wallace, Te Aroha, having been presented to him by the previous owner. Local sportsmen do not consider the Brent Locanda gelding a back number vet, as he has shown paca on the Te Aroha track recently. i
