Son Claimed Heavy Insurance On Mother's Death. CRUEL MATRICIDE ALLEGED. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, January 17. Mr. Sefton Cohen, prosecuting Henry Fox (aged.. 30) for the murder of his mother, Mrs. Fox, who was found dead in suspicious circumstances in room (56 of the Margate Hotel some months ago, quoted the opinion of Sir Bernard Spilsbury, Home Office pathologist, that Mrs., Fox had died of strangulation. Evidence, he said, would show that Fox was guilty of the deliberate and carefully planned murder of - his own mother'whom he had insured altogether for £3000. Within a year he took out twelve one-day accident policies on his mother's life. Immediately after the tragedy Fox claimed the insurance. The hearing was adjourned.
