: AUCKLAND SUMMER MEETING. KOHARA AND PADLOCK DEAD-HEAT. WRITER WINS OAK HANDICAP. TRAMWAY HANDICAP TO ENAWAH. f The summer meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club was continued to-day at Alexandra Park. The weather, though showery in the morning, cleared before racing commenced and the going was good, despite the recent rain. There was a good attendance. Writer scored in the opening event, the Oak Handicap, Tamahine and Kolmar filling the other places. Enawah was first home in the Tramway Handicap from Warspite and Hal Chimes. There was a desperate finish in the Champion Handicap, the judge being unable to separate Kohara and Padlock. Lady Fan beat Sebisca and Gold Sovereign in the trotters' event. The Dominion Handicap resulted in a victory for Great Peter over Sir Author and Evelyn Locanda;
