COMMITTEE'S REPORT.
INFLUENCE ON MINISTER,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day
The Education Committee of the House of Representatives has finished hearing evidence in the chief centres, with a view to having improvements made in the education system generally. Members of the committee will reassemble on January 20 to consider their report.
The Minister of Education, the Hon H. Atmore, will be largely influenced by the report in the detailed announcement of his education policy, in which he proposes to provide much greater facilities than exist now in primary schools for preparation for the agricultural industry.
