FIJI'S NEW GOVERNOR.
ACCEPTED BY EVERYONE,
"MAN THE COLONY NEEDED."
(From Out Own Correspondent.)
SUVA, December 5
The new Governor, Sir Murchison Fletcher, has already been taken to the hearts of the people. Everyone who has come into personal contact with him recognise that he is the man whom the Colony has been waiting for for many vears. He is most enthusiastic in more roads and a better means of interIsland communication, both subjects of supreme interest to every planter as we'll to all business men in the Colony. He is also keen on promoting aerial services' and also in developing Suva's electricity service.
