At the annual meeting of the Cambridge Competitions Society the balancesheet showed a small profit was iriade on. the last festival. The society's surplus of assets is £186 ft/. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. F. Lye, M.P.j p res i" dent, Mr. H. L. Posscnniskie; vicepresidents, Messrs. Arthur Towsey, P. G. Lewis; executive, Mrs. Ward, Miss Haulin, Messrs. S. R. James, E. B. Kemsley, Frank Penn, S. M. Ziman and Woodradge; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Edgar James. <. Mr% Arthur Towsey was elected a life i member.
