GARDEN PARTY.

In a perfect setting of pretty shrubs, trellised pagodas-and brilliantly bordered lawns, Mrs. C. A. Whitney, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, entertained & large number, of friends at a garden party yesterday afternoon. Reginald Morgan's orchestra supplied the latest melodies, and the marquee, with its gaily decorated tables, laden with the season's delicacies,, added to a delightful afternoon's entertainment; The hostess was gowned to receive her guests in floral chiffon, with a black hat and beige ospreys.
