NEW STOCK BRIDGE.
TWO WAIKATO PROPOSALS. A report on two suggested schemes for a new stock bridge across the Waikato River was received from the Hamilton Borough Council by the Waikato County Council yesterday. It was decided to affirm the need "for a new bridge and favour the site below No. 1 Bridge, where it was proposed to erect a structure at a cost of £14,000. The following committee was appointed to confer with the Borough Council and other local bodies: Messrs. T. Hinton, D. P. Laird, G. ML Watt and T. Procter.
