WORLD'S WHEAT CROP.
FALLING OFF IN YIELD. WASHINGTON, December 7. ' The Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. A. J!. Hyde, has issued his annual report. !t states that although the present season's rheat crop is considerably smaller than .hat of 1928 it may return growers a arger income since the prices are subitantially higher so far this season than -hey were in the corresponding period of he previous season. The report goes on to say: "The •eduction of our wheat output is set off ly the increased carry-over from the previous season. The income from wheat leptends upon the world situation. The world's wheat production outside of China md Russia, for 1929, is estimated at ipproximately 3,400,000,000 bushels, or 500,000,000 bushels less than in 1928. The indicated reduction has raised the worldnrice level."
