ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
RESERVE DIVISION DINNER. Over a hundred members and friends attended the fourth annual dinner of the National Reserve Division of the St. John Ambulance, held in the Mecca Cafe, Yorkshire House, last evening. The divisional superintendent, Mr. W. J. Elliott, presided. Medals were presented to Privates W. J. Dean. T. K. Stewart. C. Morgan and H. Duck, winners of the Jones Shield competition, competed for in November, by the senior district superintendent, Mr. H. J. Hutchinson. _ . An interesting address on the history and progress of the brigade was ijiven bv the commissioner, Mr. C. J. I links. Several toasts were honoured, and an enjoyable entertainment was given.
