MANUREWA TOWN BOARD.
The Manurewa Town Board held its fortnightly meeting last evening, the chairman, Mr. Gallahcr, presiding. Mr. W. T. Cox was the only member absent. Koll of Honour.—ln accordance with a request forwarded by tho Returned Soldiers' Association, it was decided to open a subscription list in connection with the War Memorial 801 l of Honour Fund.
Gn*s Cutting—Mr. A. E. Bodle's tender for ilie -mowing of gries on the district's roads and lootpatlis was accepted, the contractor undertaking to supply a horse for the -work, inclusive in his price of 50/ per day. ... . Dangerous Corner. —In compliance "with the chairman's recommendation, the foreman was instructed to cut back _ thd corner on the board's at the junction of Grand Vue Road and Great South Road. ___________________
