THE INEVITABLE CHAIRMAN. EE-ELECTION AT MOEEINSVTLLE. (From Our. Own Correspondent.) MOEEDTiSVILLE. this day. There were broad smiles all round the room at the meeting of the Morrinsville ! Co-op. Eural Intermediate Credit Aasociation on Saturday, when., tlie chairman, Mr. F. W. Seifert, announced that the next business was the election of a director to fill the vacancy caused by his own retirement in rotation. Mr. Seifert, who offered himself for re-election, called for further nominations, but met with no response. "Personally, I would sooner be out of the business," said Mr. Seifert, but added that if they wanted him to continue in office he would do his utmost for the association. ' "Gentlemen, I don't think Mr. Seifert can get out of this; we won t let him. He is a good man. I have very much pleasure in proposing Mr. Seifert for the vacancy," said Mr. G. H. Pirrit, with the utmost good humour. "I second that," said another. "Then I declare myself elected," smilingly announced Mr. Seifert, and resumed liis seat, amid applause.
