Rawlineon wrote pointing out the desirability of amalgamating all the boroughs on the Norht Shore and the land on both sicks of Coronation Road, now controlled by the Waitemata County Council, so that there would be no dual control. It should be possible, too, for all sewage to be taken out to Milford, or, as an alternative, a eewage works established, which should be a payable proposition, as cheap manure was wanted. There was no reason why the merger should not be carried out on the ward system. As far as the necessity of improved machinery was concerned, there ought to be no difficulty in arranging for the purchase and use of same. The writer was thanked for his views.
