OBITUARY.
MR. EPHRON DAVIS. The death occurred last week of Mr. Ephron Davis at his residence, New North Road, after a Jong illness. Mr. Davis arrived with his parents in the ship Queen of the Age on .March 3, 1874, and served his apprenticeship with the firm of Garrett Bros., boot manufacturers. He left for Auetralia to further his interests, and when he returned to New Zealand he started with G. A. Cples in Auckland. At the time of his death Mr. Davis was employed by the firm of Trenwith Bros. He is survived by Mrs. Davis.
