General- De Rivera Willing To
Resign. !> . POSITION SUMMED UP. MADRID, November 27. The Prime Minister of Spain, General Primo de Rivera, stated to-day that he would resign if he thought his retention of office was detrimental to the public welfare. However, the time had not yet come for him to do any such thing. General de Rivera said the Government was supported by civilian and military opinion, as well as by King Alfonso's confidence. Therefore, it would be weakness and desertion if the Ministers allowed themselves to be impressed or depressed by the clandestine murmurin<rs of a discontented section who neither as to quantity nor quality represented one-hundredth part of the people, of.
