I have been astonished to find that "International" has been attacked on all sides. It would seem that the marcel-waved, Oxford-bag sheik is the ideal of the modern girl. If these modern-dress fanatics ever predominate, I shudder to think of the next generation. Can a more grotesque person be imagined than a brainless youth with his hair oiled with perfumed oil and waved, an apology of a moustache, a multi-coloured shirt and tie, a suit of a bright hue with eocks to match, and piebald shoes? Such a person usually has an air of supercilious superiority and a feeling of pity for their less courageous brethren who, while not dressed like a Parisian model, are quite comfortable. I agree with "International." The ultra-modern young man might be suitable as an ornament or mannequin, but if brains are required I look for something less conspicuous. Throughout the animal world gorgeous covering is always used as a protection by the weaker. WHITE SHIRT..
