INTER-HOUSE GIRLS.

PHYSICAL CULTURE CONTEST. SUCCESSFUL ELIMINATING TEST. There was much enthusiasm at the Drill Hall last evening, when the eliminating tests in connection with the Interhouse Girls' Association's physical culture competition were decided. Twelve teams contested, and as each had a strong following of supporters there was a very large attendance. The presence of a band further enlivened the proceedings. The tests were carried out in costume, and it was generally agreed that the form shown exceeded all expectations.

As a result of .last evening's tests the teams to contest the final at the association's carnival at Carlaw Park on Saturday are Milne and Choyce, It. Greer and Son, and Plummer Hat Co.

Arrangements for Saturday's display are now complete, and indications are that the gala will be the most successful yet held by the association.
