ROAD BLOCKED BY SLIPS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The road from Akatarawa to Waikanae is blocked by slips, brought down by the rain of the past two days. They are serious, and as far as can be seen at present, the road will be closed for a fortnight.
