HAMILTON CLUB'S OPENING.
HAMILTON, this day. The Hamilton Rowing Club's season wa successfully opened yetserday afternoon when trial fours were rowed for trophies presented by the president, Mr. D. Hay Ten crews entered and good finishes wen witnessed. The winners were :— First Heat.—Kane, Gummer, Anchor and Brewer. Second heat: I. W. St. Clair. Wink, Lloyd, Hare, Third heat: Waters. Mitchell, Hammond, Yallop. Semi-final: Waters' crew defeated Hill, Pickup, Wallace and East. Final: St. Clair defeated Waters.,
