MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB;
The Maungakiekie Club's four-ball bogey handicap at One Tree Hill on Saturday was well contested. Following were the best cards returned :—J. Murray (8) and \V. F. Danby (12), 7 up; W. E. D'Audney (12) and C. Nicol (IS), 6 up; J. Goyder (12) and R. E. Craig , (14), 4 up; J. Methven (5) and D. Holland (15), 2 up; F. Wiseman (9) and J. A. Stewart (12), 2 up; A. H. Blackburn (12) and A. Tindall (12), 2 up; H. Worsley (11) and W. E. Anderson (15), 1 up; R. J. Hamilton (7) and A. F. Ellis (18), all square. A bogey handicap for a trophy presented by the president, Mr. W. J. Thomson, was played at Titirangi. The course was in excellent order, but a strong breeze made the scoring difficult. Two good cards were returned, R. A. McLean bing 4 up, and R. McCrystall 2 up on bogey. A mixed bogey foursomes will be played next Saturday, players to choose partners and opponents.
