CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING.
HAMILTON GUN CLUB. HAMILTON, this day. Members of the Hamilton Gun Club held a shoot at Ruakura on Saturday. The principal event was a contest for the Drysdale Cup, held by Hamilton. A team from Morrinsville won the cup by 4 points. The results: — •No. 1 Shoot, 7 birds. —H. Earle and A. Aitken' shot the possible. Drysdale Cup, 10 birds.—Morrinsville (S. Parlour, A. W. Stuckey, W. Robertson, W. Sharp, A. Aitken, J. E. Fitt, T. Heeps, J. Findley), 68 points, 1; Hamilton (E. Okane, vW. Okane, P. Jelavich, A. Woolven, W. Woolven, H. Earl, G. Peach, T. Stephenson), 64 points, 2. No. 3 Shoot, 7 birds. —W. Sharp shot the possible, and E. Okane, P. Jelavich, H. Earle and A. W. Stuckey tied for second No! 4 Shoot, 6 birds. —W. Woolven and F K. Sedddn tied with 5 each.
