GOVERNMENT HOUSE CEREMONY.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, at Government House to-day presented to Sir Henry Buckleton the Royal letters patent conferring on him the honour of Knight Bachelor. He also presented decorations as follows:— C.M.G.—Dr. L. Cockayne and Mr. R. E. Hayes, Secretary to the Treasury. I.S.O.—Mr. F. W. Rowley, Secretary to the Department of Labour. Serving Sister of the Order of St. John. —Mrs. Mildred F. Baker.
