NGARUAWAHIA RACING CLUB.
Tlie annual meeting of the Ngaruawahia Racing Club, which in one of the oldest in the Waikato, was held on Saturday evening. There was a large attendance, Mr. A. Sutherland being in the chair. The balance-sheet, which was adopted, showed the receipts amounted to £547 15/7, and the expenditure, £340 0/8, leaving a balance in the bank of £207 14/11. The liabilities were nil and the assets £215 17/11. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. A. H. Waring; president, Mr. A. Sutherland; vice-presidents, Drs. Martin and Isdale, Messrs. 11. J. Saulbrey, J. D. Raine, L. K. Harris, J. J. Cavanagh, H. Hegh, H. Wilson, J. C. Ger-l-and, W. Hadley, B. A. Smith, W. H. McFarlane, A. Miller, W. M. Paterson S. .T. Webb. L. J. Hyde, C. Corby, N. Wilson, R. T. Hill, G. A. Arey, W. Waring, R. Darrow, A. Cross, F. H. Durbridge, C. Marwood and T. Wilson, jun.; judge, Mr. T. A. Tangney (Auckland); hand'tcappers, Messrs. F. McManemin and C. Goosman.
