LOOKING FOR FIGHTS.
BOXERS FROM AUSTRALIA,
Two professional boxers were among the passengers by the Ulimaroa, which arrived from Sydney to-day. They were Tommy Doble, an Australian, and J. Jones, a Welshman.
Doble, who is a feather-weight, is to meet Tommy Donovan at Wellington on Friday, but Jones has at present no definite engagement) in view. Both hope to secure several matches in New Zealand before returning to Australia. The pair, who had a work-out at the fife brigade gymnasium this afternoon, leave for the South to-night.
