TRAMS ON SUNDAYS.
NO CONCESSION CARDS.
TRANSPORT BOARD DECISION,
In terms of the report adopted by the Transport Board to-day concession cards will not be available for use on Sundays.
In a report to the board the secretary pointed out that double wages had to be paid to employees on Sundays and that as the concession amounted to £5000 a year it should be withdrawn and thus help to make up the deficit on the service.
