The Rev. V. Courteney, who has been studying theology in Sydney for four years, returned to Auckland by the Ulimaroa this morning. Mr. Courteney will be appointed to a parish in the Auckland diocese. Mr. Donald Sutherland, nephew of the Mr. Sutherland who discovered the Sutherland Falls, which were named after him, is on a visit to New Zealand. Mr. Sutherland is resident in Brisbane, and served with the 3rd N.S.W. Mounted Rifles in the South African War. Mr. Howard B. Johnson, who represents Cooke and Co., Ltd., Auckland, was a passenger from Sydney by the Ulimaroa this morning.
