WRESTLING.

SEASON WIND-UP TO-NIGHT.

ALLEY TO MEET WALKER. There should be thrills in plenty at the Town Hall to-night when Mormon Tom Alley will meet George Walker in the last wrestling match to be staged at Auckland this season. It is confidently expected that the match will bo the best of the series. Alley, who has not been defeated in any of his six New Zealand engagements, has a large following of supporters, but Walker also made many friends when he wrestled Clarence Eklund to a draw a few weeks back. Although Alley is confident that he will be able to return

to America with a clean slate, Walker is ecpially as sure that it will be he who will get the winner's end of the purse. Against Eklund, Walker provided some of the greatest thrills of the season with his famous flying tackle, and it is certain that he will bring the trick into play against Alley. Still, it can be taken for granted that Alley, who scored a win over Eklund at Wellington, will take a lot of beating. Walker has expressed himself as confident that Alley's crucifix hold will give him'no trouble, so that if the Mormon secures his pet hold it will be interesting to see what happens. The season just ending has been the most successful in the history of the New Zealand Wrestling Association and there is likely to be a big crowd to see the last match of the series.
