CRIPPLE'S REMAINS FOUND.
IN RUINS OF HOME. OTHERS OF FAMILY ABSENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYiIOUTH, Sunday. Thomas Egan, aged 25 years, a cripple, was burned to death in his home at Blackball last night. All the other members of the family were absent at the time, and when the house was discovered to be on lire the flames had a strong hold, and it was impossible to rescue Egan.
There is no water supply at Blackball and the house was destroyed. Egan's charred remains were found afterwards.
