AIRSHIP SUCCESSES. RlOl Hailed As Experiment Of Great Value. TRIAL PLIGHTS. {British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, October 16. The new airship RlOl is to make a trial flight to-morrow, which will take her over some of the big industrial cities and towns. The flight will be in a westerly direction, and the airship may cross to Ireland. Among the passengers will be the Air Minister, Lord Thomson. Colonel Richmond, the designer of the vessel, and Major Scott, its commander, have received a largo number of congratulatory telegrams, many of them coming from eminent aeronautical experts abroad who recognise that the experience which will be gained on this ship, owing t& the many novel features introduced, will be of immense value in designing and constructing still larger vessels. The other State airship, the RIOO, which has been built at Howden and is nearly ready for her trial flight, will be in charge of Major Scott during the opening stages of her career.
The Air Misistcr intends to invite 100 members of Parliament of all parties to make a flight ill the RlOl shortly after Parliament meets.
