FRIENDLY VISIT.
BRITISH ADMIRAL IN TURKEY, i (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 16. Admiral Sir Frederick Field, Com-niander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Fleet, who last week proceeded with a British squadron on a visit to Constantinople, in company with the British Ambassador to Turkey, Sir George Clerk, was received on Monday by the Turkish President, Kemal Pasha, at Angora. Later the Admiral visited the! Premier, the Foreign Minister and the Minister of National Defence and attended a luncheon given in his honour. In the evening the Admiral attended a banquet given by the Foreign Minister. He returned to Constantinople last evening. Admiral Field, in an interview, 1 recorded the deep impression Turkish cordiality had made upon him.
