TAXI DRIVERS' MORALS.
Why should members of public bodies make such outrageous statements as published M your paper about taxi drivers? Even if a small percentage of taxi drivers oflena, have these members 'the right to condemn ail. If critics of taxi drivers would only consider the trust placed in taxi drivers by powers who send their children under our care, tnea perhaps they would realise that in almost every case taxi drivers are looked °" al * treated as anything but entertainers of flappers." If men cannot find anything better to do than drive around dark streets looking; i°r wayward taxi drivers it is time they did a little self-examination. Has it ever enteieii their minds that private ears also park in aarK streets and may require chasing out for m same reason as is suggested about taxi cabs. This insult demands an apology. ,_,«'■ l\ H. HILDEETH.
